The brief
Lyrical Wars is a battle rap league founded in 2014, and Lyrical Wars TV was where fans bought access and watched. I built the platform for selling event tickets and pay-per-view access, and for streaming live events and battles on demand.
What the site offered
- Fans signed up, then bought either an event ticket or online pay-per-view access.
- Cross-border payments, so fans in Ghana and abroad could pay, with prices set by where the buyer is.
- A members-only area for live pay-per-view events and on-demand battles, with a page for each battle listing the performers, sponsors and organizers.
- Ticketing for the door: tickets sent by email with unique codes, and an event check-in page.
